solo episode. Today I wanted to talk a little bit about how labor and delivery of a child,

of a baby, of a woman having a baby is portrayed in the movies and on TV and how that is damaging to our expectations of what

labor and delivery is going to be like, which then leads to some people feeling let down

because it wasn't, you know, the experience that they expected to have and so on

and so on. And then just some ridiculous things that we always see on TV or in the movies when people

have babies. That is just not accurate in real life. I am recording this on Wednesday morning. Usually I record a few days ahead of when

the episode's going to be published, but because I went away on the weekend, I wasn't home on Monday,

and then yesterday I was just trying to catch up on a bunch of things, so I never had a chance to
