Hello and welcome to Let's Talk About It. I'm your host Taylor and I'm so excited to have

any opportunity to talk about sex. So today I'm very excited to have Liz Goldwin on who is

an author, she's a filmmaker and founder of the sex ed. She started with her first job

as an intern at Planned Parenthood in Los Angeles at the age of 13 and she's dedicated

much of her life to exploring the depths of human sexuality through her books and films,

all based on original historical research and some of these works include Goldwin's documentary

Pretty Things, which was on HBO 2005 and her nonfiction book Pretty Things, the last generation

of American Burlesque Queens about about American Burlesque and the advent of strip teas in the 1840s

all the way to the 1960s and Goldwin is also the author of the novel Sporting Guide set in the

world of vice and prostitution in Los Angeles in the 1890s. She's a passionate advocate for sex

education and Goldwin is committed to providing resources for others to explore sexual wellness

and consciousness. She is one of my favorite tools which is this sex ed.com which launched in 2018

with the mission to inform and inspire conversations around sexual wellness and that they really kind
