Well, there we are, Dismas and Disa, welcoming you all to the Chipping Forecast, this episode of the Chipping Forecast, which was we were flying, we were about five minutes in, and

we had told the funniest stories imaginable, and then I realized that I hadn't pressed record

at my end. So we're just going to have to be just as funny again. We, and by we, I mean

are super-duper special guest, Ian Carter, regular guest. Hello. Ian Carter is here. Hello,

greetings. And Eddie Pepperl, our tour emissary, is back from Kenya. And where you played with Dismas and Disa, we highlighted him last week. And I think it lived up to all your expectations, Eddie. He did. He was a lovely fella, popular, swung it. Well, actually, the opening t-shirt was quite funny. He took his time. He must have taken a good minute from when the announcer announced him to when he actually hit the shot. He decided to take his jumper off. He didn't put a glove on and just swung it down there. One of the most natural players I've ever seen at a golf ball, but I've got to say, a brilliant drive with the ball. Well, we'll get into full proper review of Kenya, because once we start talking about, I think then we're into golf mode. And not that we're, I mean, we're always in golf mode here on the chipping forecast. But actually, staying in golf mode, Ian sent me a message, which was just full of glee and happy emojis saying he'd played the best round of golf in many, many a long year. Ian, is that true recently? Was everything just firing on all cylinders? Well, I wouldn't go as far as to say that,

Andrew. And funny enough, after my round, when I was handing my scorecard in, because it was a

competition. So we're only playing 17 holes at the moment, and I got 33 points because one of our

holes is being done. So just won over my handicap. And actually, that is, as, that's

my best score for probably a year or so. And the irony is that my, my handicap's gone up by point

two. So the whole, and a couple of weeks ago, I played a, I put in a card that wasn't as good as that.

And it came down by point one.

So the whole WHS thing is bamboozling me at the moment.

And actually, people might want to just email in with their tales of WHS, whoa, or Delightight or whatever at some stage. But I came in...

Sorry, how does that work? I don't understand that. How does your handicap go?

It's the average of your best eight scores out of your 20 most recent rounds. So I had a

reasonably good one drop off and it was replaced by this one, which was reasonably good, but not quite good enough to maintain 8.8, so it's gone up to 9 now, which is, it's disappointing.

So, you're handicaps 9?
