Summary
Hey there Chief / Fella / My Friend… This week the miraculously award-winning podcast (thank you all) returns to discuss any number of matters loosely centred around the world of golf. Eddie has moved on to Qatar and professes to be in a happier place after his missed cut than he was with his top-20 the week before. He celebrates his good humour by buying an inappropriate laptop. The season opener of LIV is considered, as it appeared to notch a victory over the PGA Tour with Pebble Beach a washout, but our trio question the value of either product when not that many people are watching. Eddie also takes the opportunity to apologise to the podcast’s number one fan.1

| 1:01.0 | Award-winning, like a restaurant. You go into restaurants that you see up on the wall, it says |
| 1:05.4 | Pristatin Good Food Award in 1997, and they're still clinging onto that on the wall there. |
| 1:10.0 | We're not going to bang on about it. But Ian Carter, our special award-winning guest, first of all, we are genuinely very grateful for the votes because it was votes that made it. So anybody who's gone out there and voted for this, and we didn't hammer out and plead for the votes. So it's just a nice endorsement from the listeners, isn't it? It's lovely. Yeah. And just a huge thank you to everyone who took the trouble to vote because you don't have to. |
| 1:33.1 | And it was a lovely little thing when that came through on social medias. |

| 1:58.0 | Eddie Pepper. I mean, we know it doesn't mean we are the best. That's not the way the awards work. But, hey, somebody at, where the podcast of people's hearts is the way I like to think of it. Eddie. Yeah, well, and certainly better than beef. And that's the main thing. And, well, I bumped into a guy last week, Barry, who carted me from the 18th green to the first tea and he presented me with a chipping |
| 2:18.3 | forecast t-shirt. He was actually wearing one himself, chipping forecast t-shirt with a logo on and he's giving it me. Can you believe it? I mean, we are, I've never seen that before. | 2:34.4 | No, no. He was a volunteer. He lived in Bahrain, but he was English, as you might imagine. |
| 2:38.0 | So he's just desperate to get to a country that's almost his name. So do you think Barry's got some sort of side grift of selling t-shirts without our knowledge or say-so or agreement? I mean, we love Barry, who's undoubtedly listening just now. |
