Hello there, everyone, wherever you might be listening to this episode of The Chipping Forecast.

And what we're finding out week after week is that we do have a broad

church, a widespread of listeners around this world of ours, listening to this award-winning

podcast, which is remarkable to say in itself. But yes, I mean, based on our genuine opinion

of awards, which we've given out, or certainly my opinion, Eddie's about it. Ian loves awards. He just

craves them. But we're certainly not going to say that more than once award-winning podcast.

Award-winning, like a restaurant. You go into restaurants that you see up on the wall, it says

Pristatin Good Food Award in 1997, and they're still clinging onto that on the wall there.

We're not going to bang on about it. But Ian Carter, our special award-winning guest, first of all, we are genuinely very grateful for the votes because it was votes that made it. So anybody who's gone out there and voted for this, and we didn't hammer out and plead for the votes. So it's just a nice endorsement from the listeners, isn't it? It's lovely. Yeah. And just a huge thank you to everyone who took the trouble to vote because you don't have to.

And it was a lovely little thing when that came through on social medias.

And it's not the be all an end or by any stretch of the imagination, Andrew.

But, you know, considering we've only been here since June, it's just really nice, isn't it? So thank you very much indeed.

And, well, I bumped into a guy last week, Barry, who carted me from the 18th green to the first tea and he presented me with a chipping

forecast t-shirt. He was actually wearing one himself, chipping forecast t-shirt with a logo on and he's giving it me. Can you believe it? I mean, we are, I've never seen that before. Yeah, hang on a minute, Barry from Bahrain. That's odd in itself. But was he from Bahrain or was he working with the tour was he just there no no he was a volunteer he lived in barring but he was

No, no. He was a volunteer. He lived in Bahrain, but he was English, as you might imagine.

So he's just desperate to get to a country that's almost his name. So do you think Barry's got some sort of side grift of selling t-shirts without our knowledge or say-so or agreement? I mean, we love Barry, who's undoubtedly listening just now.
