All individuals are considered innocent and less proven otherwise in a

court of law. In July 2017, three months after Kirsty Maxwell fell to her death in Benadorm,

Spain, her family travelled to the country to start an investigation of their own after hitting a wall of

silence from the Spanish police. They were also there to track someone down. Someone who had taken a

photo of Kirsty's uncovered body and sold it to the Spanish press. I'm Naomi Channel and this is episode three of

and someone's first thought was to take a picture of her body and sell it

and for an editor to agree to publish it.

Last year, when One Direction Starly and Payne fell from his hotel balcony, his family were also

subjected to the same pain. The English press, thankfully, didn't print the image, but of course it was circulated online.

It's difficult to comprehend why anyone would do this, but Kirsty's family wanted to speak to this person,

not to berate them for the callous thing that they did, but to find out what else they had seen,

could this person be a significant witness? So they travelled to Benadour, still consumed by grief,

they found the strength to go on and start an investigation of their own. No parent should ever have to investigate their own child's death.

But the Spanish police weren't telling them much.
