collectors and music nerds. And I've got to admit, I've been holding on to this interview

for several weeks now. And dear Lord, I've been wanting to share it because it's such a great

conversation with an extremely interesting and extraordinarily funny guest, Mr.

Erie Vaughn.

Now, many of you are already familiar with Erie Vaughan, and if you are, well, it's possible

you may have just fainted in excitement for the type of vinyl record conversation we're

going to have today.

For those of you unaware, Erie grew up with, went to school with,

hung around with, and even played with misfits in the late 70s and early 80s, at which point

he remained close friends with Glenn Danzig, joined Sam Hain, stayed through all of their albums,

and deep into about half a dozen Danzig albums as well. Erie has had an

amazing front row seat to American punk rock history and was present at and likely the midwife

for the birth of horror punk. And today, Erie is an incredibly open book, sharing stories and

details of what that time was like from his vantage

point.

Erie has even written a book, Misery Obscura, a book compiling photographs and stories from his
