The chipping forecast, I'm Andrew Cotter.

It is Ryder Cup Week.

It is also immediately, well, not quite immediately,

but it's sort of immediately post-Solheim Cup Week,

which was enormous. It's's a rugby world cup week month yes so let's just get this hello good good to see you andrew

delighted you've made it here to italy i got here yesterday monday we're doing this

tuesday lunchtime we had a couple of technical issues earlier.

A lot of incompetence involved, certainly on my part. Yes. I agree. In terms of...

Just forgetting stuff. Anyway, it doesn't matter. But we're here. Eddie will be here. We're doing

another one in the buildup and we're going to do that tomorrow. Tomorrow because I'm going to walk the course this afternoon, so I'll have a full... Brilliant. Thoughts on that. Eddie... I'm talking to half the European team this afternoon, six of them. I'm doing the other six tomorrow. In fact, by the time we've done it, I'll have spoken to all 12. Well, yeah, Eddie was also with us this morning. We tried to pod.

So Ian was here already at the media centre.

I was driving down from the Rugby World Cup.

I was doing a match in Sant'etienne and Nice, and I decided to drive down.

Again, Chevy Chase, European vacation style, because I thought that looks a lovely drive

on the map.

Yeah.

And it is, sort of, but it's a long drive as well. And you know, if you've driven that coast, you sort of pass Monaco from Nice, and then you pass other places that I can't remember. You come across the Italian border, and then you come down to Genoa. But that whole motorway is an extraordinary feat of engineering. It's winding. It's through, I mean, a thousand tunnels.

And so it was the dark of the tunnels and out into the light, and you're very focal for it lenses. Oh, I'd have had a nightmare. They'd have exploded. They wouldn't have been able to cover it. Was it a payage? Oh, there were so many payages. And I crashed through a payage. It's not crashed through physically, but I went through without paying.
