I'm a birth doula and life coach and we are a podcast that believes in empowering women

through storytelling and education. Man I've gone over and over like what I want to say in

this intro because there's just so much going on in the world right now that it's

just really hard to know what to say. It's been a heavy week, heavy couple of weeks.

Yeah definitely a tough time. I feel like there's I feel like I've learned so much the last couple

of weeks just with the resources out there and wanting to expand my knowledge and

and be better. So I'm looking forward to some really cool episodes that we are going to do on here.

And I know that I said that June was going to be all dads but I had recorded this episode with

Ty Randolph and Tika Sumter last month and I just wanted to release it. I didn't really want to

wait any longer to release it because these two ladies are making a huge difference in their

communities and they wanted to start a pro like a community for they call it the brown mama's

we recorded this before the murder of George Floyd and and everything going on. So it's not too

drastically changed in the last two weeks. You know it's I mean not everything has changed but

there's just so much more awareness surrounding the systemic racism in our country. So
