On the 29th of April 2017, Kirsty Maxwell died in suspicious circumstances whilst on a 'hen do' in Benidorm, Spain. She was just 27 years old.


For the last eight years, her family and friends have been fighting for answers. amongst rows of chairs in front of a stage. On the stage were five people looking nervous. I was at CrimeCon

UK. I'd gone there with a woman called Sue Holman who had just done what these people on stage were

about to do. She just looked out to a sea of faces and appealed for information for her murdered ex-husband.

His name was Stuart Lubbock and he was the first case I covered on a podcast.
