Rudy Sarzo is living the American and Rock & Roll dream; he fled Communist Cuba, resettled into the United States and got his big break playing with Ozzy Osbourne, a referral from his friend and guitar legend Randy Rhoads. Rudy talks about this time of his life, his friendship with Ozzy and Randy, the good times, the tragic times and how he moved forward. Plus we talk with record collector Mike Vague on a recent Beatles discovery from their early years!

I actually started playing with Quiet Riot when Quiet Riot was just a local band in Los Angeles,

with Randy Rhodes in the band.

And then Randy left Quiet Riot, joined Ozzy Osbourne, went over to England, recorded a couple albums,

and when they were looking for a new bass player, he's the one who recommended me. So I was literally sleeping on the floor

when I got the phone call to join Ozzy

and Randy keeps saying that you're the guy
