When I think it was about 18, we went down to Mexico to write some songs.

We ended up accidentally on this drug bust.

It's a whole other story.

But there is a picture on his website, pultz.com, of me holding an AK-47 and him a kilo of marijuana.

But again, that's a whole other story.

I wrote three songs on that trip, and this song was one of them.

We were kind of just trying to figure out.

We both had a record deal, and it was our first record, I think, for both of us.

And we were trying to figure out who would record it, and so after a gig at 3 a.m.

We went to this taco stand in Crescent Heights or something, Hillcrest,

in San Diego, and there were some prostitutes there eating burritos. And we decided to

sing them, each sing them the song, and let them decide who sang it better.

Anyway, they thought I sang it better, and so I recorded it. And this is that song.
