Summary

Andrew, Eddie and Iain return for the best golfing week of the year post the Scottish Open and the week of The Open. They discuss Rory McIlroy's thrilling win at The Renaissance Club and whether the Northern Irishman is back to somewhere near his best. Eddie also gives us a review of his swing-aid but also what happened after he missed the cut in Scotland. Andrew reveals his link with Bradley Walsh, Tony Bellew and Jordan Pickford before he and Iain rekindle their pronunciation beef over Ludvig Åberg. We actually hear from the Swedish golfer himself to give us the definitive way to say his name - safe to say Iain and Andrew don't come to a consensus. Eddie raves about the persimmon driver McIlroy tested over the weekend and all three give their early predictions ahead of the week's Open Championship at Royal Hoylake in Liverpool

Well, I'm at home because I live not too far from Hoyle Lake and I was there all day yesterday, wandering around, soaking it in. Why have I got an alarm going off? What's that for? That's to remind you to do this podcast. I like to get up at four minutes past nine precisely and my alarm's just gone off. So I was there yesterday. It was nice yesterday. It was windy, Wendy Miller. And I was just soaking it all in, chatting to lots of people from the irony. A few golfers. I had a word with Martin Slumbers about tennis commentary. And Matt Fitzpatrick. I was going to walk a couple of holes with him because he was playing with his brother, Alex, but then Matt only played a couple of holes before coming in.
2:03.6	I don't know if they fell out or something. I bumped into Matt's caddy, Billy Foster, who was doing his reconnoitering of the course.
2:09.8	He was very much looking forward to seeing the new 17th hole,
