Summary
Colorado 14ers thru-hike: Junaid and his buddy's epic continuous journey summiting all 58 Colorado 14ers – 1,300 miles, nearly 300,000 feet of elevation gain, Forest Service roads, class 5 traverses, Colorado and Continental Divide Trail sections, and cross-country travel.
Originally aired July 15, 2015
As if climbing a typical 14,000 ft mountain isn't enough of an accomplishment, Junaid and his buddy, successfully summited every one of the 58 Colorado 14ers in a single continuous hike. The journey was about 1,300 miles with a total elevation gain close to 300,000 feet. They hiked desolate Forest Service roads, class 5 traverses, many sections of the Colorado and Continental Divide Trail, as well as cross-country travel. It's an epic adventure to say the least!

| 1:03.3 | And I've actually tried to do something like this, but instead of walking between them, I tried to bike between them. |
| 1:07.7 | And I got like a third of the way through before my body just couldn't keep up. The weather was terrible. And I was probably a little bit of a weenie too. But I got through about 20 of them. Yeah, it was quite an experience. So to think about doing that and walking between them, you know, hundreds. That's, gosh, probably a thousand miles of walking by the time you're all done, plus all the elevation of climbing. |
| 1:29.0 | That's all on trail and off trail, all that. |

| 2:02.0 | And that was the most by a long shot that we've ever had in a single day. |
| 2:07.7 | So I don't know what it was about that episode. |
