Today on the On On Inquirer podcast, what a newsy weekend and a newsy Monday for Illinois athletics.

Thank you to Illinois athletics for making it a non-newsy Sunday outside of

Maddie Weber, Villanova, Commit for Illinois Women's Basketball.

But I was able to watch Rory McElroy and that roller coaster of an epic master's victory.

I was all in on that.

That was such great theater.

And thankfully for Rory, found a way to pull that one out,

to get the career grand slam. What emotion, loved it. But that's not why you came to this podcast.

It's because we got a lot to talk about. We're going to focus on a football podcast later in the

Archie McDaniel doing work at linebacker in this class and really over the last six, seven months.

He adds another one of the third linebacker commit in this class and Tony Williams,

really good athlete.

And then three-star Florida defensive back, Elmerian Thomas.

Aaron Henry has a type.

Florida, feisty, long, really athletic.

Elmerian Thomas fits the bill.

Illinois offered him very early, and they were able to close on him early as well.

He's a heck of a story.
