Dennis Fussaro is our guest today.

He has just emerged from a legal ordeal, a political ordeal that wound him up in a bunch of

trouble.

And he has been known as a self-described political troublemaker for quite some time. He's been a political

consultant and grassroots activist for a long time, and he got into some legal trouble because of a

campaign in which there was a robocall done. Well, we'll get into the details in just a minute,

but it doesn't matter if you approve of his tactics or not.

I thought it might be an interesting topic of discussion simply because the jury in the case

clearly disregarded their instructions, and they clearly ruled on the basis of fundamental fairness and on the basis of a higher law than the arcane maze of election law that exists in this country.

So I thought that was an interesting enough outcome to justify having this conversation.
