All right, welcome to the Righteous Remnant podcast.

Today we're going to be starting a new series. We have been, had been covering the election quite a bit. This new series is going to be on covering

issues of offense and hurt in the church. It's going to be on overcoming church hurt. Okay. I do think that this is probably one of the most important issues facing the

average Christian, okay? And that's because unity is one of the greatest needs in the body

of Christ. I am wholly convinced that unity is the, maybe the single most important thing that we can do to see

the power of God move on the church. Okay, I think biblically speaking, there's a principle where

if the people of God are divided, then what happens is God stops moving with the people, okay. And there's two, there's two issues there,

but they're interrelated. It's, it's division and sin. Okay. Where there's division and sin in the church,

God stops providing supernatural grace on his people, something like that. Okay. And when he wants to move, um,

what he usually starts doing is putting, um, conviction on his people to pray and then to

unify. And that's why I think generally speaking, you see movements of prayer and unity

proceed great outpourings of the spirit of revivals

throughout history. And what happens is when sin and division get in the church, and these two

things are intertwined, generally speaking, right? But when they get into the church, it really

cuts off the power and the presence of the Lord.

So that's why it's so important that we preach against practicing sin.

Okay.

And we effectively discipline on that, okay?

Meaning we put people who are, who refuse to repent that they insist on practicing sin we have to
