Rachel Maddo gets a semicolon wrong and she hears from thousands of people.

We had some emails about our Tuesday show. Yes, we did. And by Wednesday morning, I mean,

really, within six hours, we had been gently remonstrated for suggesting that W. Bush was

worse than Nixon. And also for oversimplifying the 1960s, this was on Tuesday's episode that we admittedly did that.

We did. That's a totally fair point. We did oversimplify the 60s. If you are interested,

and it's a wonderful topic, there are hundreds of podcasts out there that look at the 60s from every

possible angle. There's Pop Go the 60s by the BBC,

which has, I believe, 28 episodes on just the music of the 1960s. And the things like the American

scandal podcast, which I believe is run for 71 seasons. I'm not sure what a season means in this

context, but they have 334 episodes,

lots of episodes. But ours is not a 1960 analysis podcast, which is why we said at the outset
