All right folks, welcome to the team VTAC podcast. We're starting to do some of these as shorts so

we're kind of doing this off the cuff. You have to tell us what you think. If you have comments

YouTube see how it goes. I don't know why you want to see my ugly mug but hey whatever you want to do.

So we've we've tried to come up with some names for this. I was actually talking to my daughter. I said

what should we call this and she said you should call it lambasting. I'm not sure if I want to call this lamb

or we could call it fireside chats fireside fire being us shooting guns. My wife said you should call it spun up.

I kind of like that one spun up. That's something I say a lot and I don't know we're going to do kind of an open

ideas here. So today what I want to talk about is writing a book and I get a lot of questions on the range.

That folks say well you've written three books. I want to write a book what would I need to know to write a book.

And I guess what I would say is why in the heck was you want to write a book. If you feel that you have information that's worth

putting out there as instructional information that I would agree with you totally. If you have always wanted to write a book

then I would agree with you on that too. If you simply want to write a book because you want to write a book then

that's another great reason. What I would say is tackle this project and see where it goes. You may love it.

You may hate it and I can tell you that I absolutely love it when I write. Now we recorded this once before.

My buddy Rich who puts all this stuff together for us on our podcast he works for SAG Rich Spala and he said

man you were all disorganized when you did that and I made a comment several times and he said he got sick of hearing that

and one of those was what or that comment was I'm not a professional writer. He said you only have to say that once.

Well actually I'm going to take that back and I am going to say I am a professional writer and here's why I say that.
