had, I'm going to get these ages wrong, but I believe my uncle had turned 80 and my aunt had turned almost 80 and they had hit a milestone anniversary.

And their kids, my first cousins, had decided that they were going to get their story down on tape and they hired a crew and they spent hours and hours going over the family photos and putting together this essentially life story on videotape that at this Thanksgiving

dinner we all sat down and we couldn't watch the whole thing because it did go on quite a while but we watched a good part of it and I just thought how incredibly wonderful

not just for my cousins but for their kids and for their eventual grandkids to have

something like this makes me want to do it with my own mother and it leads me to talking about my guest today. So Patty Sellers is with me

in the studio and many people know Patty because she is quite legendary.

She is the co-founder of the Fortune Most Powerful Women Conference Enterprise.

Let's just cut to the chase.

Have you talked to people about Fortune MPW? They all

think Patty is Fortune MPW. She's also an incredible reporter and writer and journalist has spent almost three decades, more than three decades at Fortune magazine.

I have seen her in conversation with Meg Whitman and Melinda Gates and Katie Coric and this year

Patty and one of her colleagues Nina Easton who also has been at the helm of MPW and on the masthead, high on the masthead at Fortune,

started a new company called Sellers Easton Media and they are using all of their combined

journalistic expertise to help real people tell their stories and so I

just think that's fascinating I thought it would be great for all of us to hear from Patty about MPW, about all the amazing

women that she's interviewed and what she's learned from them, but also about this new chapter. So welcome.
