| 1:06.9 | world. And these are the realms of thought and emotion. |
| 1:11.2 | But in order to have a full thought and emotion. |
| 1:14.1 | In order to have a fuller understanding of how to work with thought and emotion in our minds, it's helpful to place them in the framework of two |
| 1:27.8 | overarching principles in the Buddhist teachings. |
| 1:32.3 | These two principles are that of relative truth and more ultimate truth. |
| 1:40.0 | We could also describe it as the realm of karma in the realm of emptiness. |
| 1:47.0 | We could describe it as the realm of content or the realm of process. |
| 1:53.0 | So we need to understand how to work with thought and emotion |
| 1:57.0 | in both of these realms, on both of these levels. |
| 2:02.0 | It's important to consider both of these levels because it's easy to become attached to one or the other of them. |
| 2:10.0 | And this is one of the dangers of spiritual practice. |
| 2:15.0 | People sometimes get attached to the idea of emptiness |
| 2:20.0 | and then don't give consideration to the relative world. |
| 2:25.0 | Oh, everything's empty. |
| 2:27.0 | Or people more commonly are attached to the realm of form, |
