We are recording this episode from Washington DC. We're at the AARP Family Caregiving Summit.

For those of you who don't know this, I've been part of the AARP family for more than five years now as the Association's

financial ambassador and that means writing a column for the magazine and

covering everything from retirement to Social Security to the

subject that we are focusing on today.

One of AARP's goals is to make the big responsibilities of family caregivers a little bit easier, which is why

there are so many wonderful thought leaders here today to talk about the state of caregiving from political, technological, professional, personal, and
