Today we have a truly different kind of episode of this podcast because we are are we actually just spoke to Errol Morris who you know the famous

documentary award winning or Academy Award winning

yeah I mean one of the you know one of the, you know, in recent decades, sort of the top, you know, top people

in this craft and he has this new documentary out about Steve Bannon called American

Darma and Kate and David and I watched it and then we actually just did an

interview with him and it was pretty contentious.

It was pretty kind of wild.

We were sort of talking about it, the three of us after Errol and the people he came over with left and I think at one

point we at least I thought he might actually get up and walk out of the interview and I don't

know how much of that was sort of like you know little drama and and and sort of performance.

Right, but yeah he was he was game to go back and forth.

And just to give a tiny bit of background, this film is a portrait of Steve Bannon essentially,

and it has been quite controversial with people arguing that he shouldn't have gotten a platform at all,

that the film is way, you know, not critical enough of him and his beliefs and his positions and his ideology,

which Errol Morris takes great... and his I'll be able to him,

Errol Morris takes great umbrage at as you'll see.

Quite a bit of umbrage.

And I think it would be fair to,

just to sum up what he was saying there is he sees there he sees the film as being

implicitly extremely critical of Bannon and I think maybe the three of us at least on

first watch found it like extremely implicit like that it's that it
