Brand new week here Tuesday, July six. I hope you guys enjoyed your Independence Day weekend.

Celebrated our values, tradition, founding history, unalienable rights and that you guys

came out with a resolve to fight a new I certainly was quite rejuvenated when on a

little camping trip, three generations with my father and my youngest son. So I've been

a little bit out of the news and it's probably a good thing because the more news from this

week piles up the more I forget about last week. And there's some unsettled business.

I want to share with you from last week a lot of important stories. I didn't get to in

the courts crime, illegal immigration, terrorist attacks, stuff you don't hear about. You don't

even hear about on conservative media. Lots of important things to go through here. But

you know, is we celebrate with fireworks and a barbecue. There's other people who celebrate

with a different sort of barbecue and fireworks. We had over the weekend 142 people killed 379

shot across the US during July 4th. And the reason I want to bring that up is because when

you have a government, what's the lesson of the Declaration of Independence? We talked

about this last week in our special July 4th show is that you don't want to abolish

the old for light and transit causes even when you're upset with it. That's at its core

of the ideology of conservatism you want to conserve the status quo as long as you can.

I would have told you in the past, if I had I posed the question, why even have a government?
