Patient Plow Excerpt:
Sidney the Snow Plow woke up to a loud clunking noise. He blinked sleepily and looked around his cozy garage. Light slipped through the cracks of the big garage door, but something was a bit different. The door wiggled a little, making a thunk, thunk sound, but it wasn’t rolling up like it usually did.

Sidney noticed the bottom of the door wasn’t letting any light through. He squinted at the little sliver of white he could see outside. “I wonder if I’ll be going out today,” he thought. Then, he heard Marta, his driver, just outside the door. She sounded a little frustrated. “It’s completely frozen!” Marta said with a sigh.

Before today's story, let's relax. We'll start by taking a deep dragon breath together. You'll breathe in through your nose, filling up your lungs, and then out through your mouth, pretending you are breathing fire like a dragon.

Ready, deep breath, in and out.

As you breathe out, feel your legs, back, and belly soften,

and think of a mama dear gently nudging her baby up onto its feet,

encouraging the fawn to stand on its own. You feel connected and loved, just like the baby dear.
