Today we are going to start a new series.

We're going to be doing the series for at least three podcast episodes,

but it's going to be about why Christians

should be politically involved. I think all Christians should be involved with

politics and I understand that for most Christians should be involved with politics.

And I understand that for most Christians,

they don't see that as being true, right?

And I totally understand because I was exactly the same politics. I remember I had a friend that ran for

you know student political office you know at Berkeley and he was always talking to me about politics and when

he would when he would talk to me about it my mind would kind of turn off and

I'd be like you know look I'm just about the kingdom. The kingdom of God, that's my priority, that's my

concern. I'm not really about politics. And I wouldn't really engage in it because I just didn't

care. I didn't see it as being

important and so I understand why there's so many Christians that are really

apolitical they don't want to get involved in politics they just feel like it's

it's divisive they see people getting you

know really upset and they see and it seems like it's it's pulling them away

from the things that are more important which is you know maybe the kingdom of God maybe it's

family maybe it's a number of other things but I'm now standing here you know 20
