asked. Say the hero is fighting some random thug. In the real movie, you know the hero has to win

because it would be stupid and dramatically unsatisfying for them to die 10 minutes in. But for us,

there are no guarantees. This week, we're going to play through Jaws. In the role of Hooper, we have Peter

Strait. Yes, the lead character of this movie Hooper. Thanks for introducing me first.

In the role of Quint, special guest Andy Hoover. It is a pleasure to be here hunting sharks

with you gentlemen. I see. We're starting with the least important and then go then go I see what's happening. And in the principal role, the most important

character, the only person we really care about at all. Oh my god, please stop looking at me like

that. Playing Brody, John Miller. Yeah, hi, I haven't seen this movie in a while. I don't actually

know that I'm that important. Well, you could die very quickly and then you won't be.

It would be hard for... I mean, no spoilers for a movie that came out in 1975, but it would be tough for Broda to die early.

Yes, that's a good point. He doesn't go in the water until like the last third of the movie.

There's other crime.

A random thug. That could get into a fight with a random thug. I do like that

Paolo is just rolling every five minutes to see if Jack the Ripper shows up. Amity is a dangerous

town. The original subtitle of Jaws was the least of our problems. They cut that. There were a lot of

subplots going on. Jaws is like a surprisingly goofy name for what is actually a pretty serious movie.

It's true. It's not that goofy.

Like we used to the name Jaws, so we don't think about like...

They don't name the shark.

No. They never say Jaws in the movie at all.
