I am Kelly Minter, and I'm so glad you are here,

especially if you are joining us for the first time. And I say us, I guess what I really mean is me because I'm sitting here by myself. So I guess you're joining me. Today I'm at my friend's

dining room table because I have some people at my house and so I am in a little bit

different of an environment but I like to be at the table because it reminds me of just how

intimate this environment is and that's what I love about it. So today we're going to open up

a really interesting passage of scripture.

And in fact, for those of you who have kind of been on this journey with me,

I've been kind of going through like my top 10,

if I was going to make like a Spotify list of my top 10 favorite Bible passages

or most impacting Bible passages, that's kind of how I started the podcast.

But this particular passage and this particular person has moved into my top 10 as a very recently. So this would be like

a recent, you know, hit, if you will, in my Bible Spotify list. And some of you all will know

of her by the term or the kind of name, the

Syrophonician woman or the Canaanite woman, depending on if you're in Matthews Gospel or
