Hey, everybody. So this is a conversation with Amber O'Hara, co-founder of Business of Ballyash.

Amber and I become friends on Instagram, and one day she asked me to lunch. This is the conversation

before that lunch. I wasn't even sure that it was going to be a piece of content, but I'm super glad

that we recorded it because I really loved this conversation. It's super freeform,

brainstorm sort of collaboration type stuff where we talk about how to grow a business in

the beauty business from concept to sale like she did with business and baliage. We also talked

about Salon Republic, how we started. I give you a little

inside glimpse and how we do things and why we do things. Enjoy. So I'm sitting here with Amber,

and we've only met once because you did a Business Abolayash class in our Woodland Hills location,

but we didn't have much time to talk.

So I think we reached out and one of us said, let's have lunch.

I started a company, co-founded the business of Ballyage a few years ago, and recently sold my shares and I'm spending my energy in the salon

with a new business that I opened in Mission

Viejo, California.

And also building another education company called the House of Collaboration, which will empower

independent educators and walk them through the process of how I did what I did as an independent
