Well, hey guys, and welcome to the messy table, an ordinary space for us to pause and remember that God's actually at work in our mess.

And man, I am just so thankful for it, because as we all know, there's plenty of mess happening all around

us, both publicly and behind closed doors. But the table? It's kind of a sanctuary where we can

gather, where we can literally take off our masks, where we can take a much needed breath of truth

and encouragement, where we can talk about the great stuff, and yes, the hard

stuff. You know, one of the messiest tables of all set the stage for that final meal over 2,000

years ago. When Jesus himself, on the cusp of suffering, huddled around a table with his closest

friends, warning them some really tough stuff was about to go down.

But also, that God wasn't done.

That what would feel like death would actually unlock life.

That he was doing something new, something redemptive,

something they couldn't even fathom,

and that eventually goodness would come.
