The former White Sox slugger was named to the Baseball Hall of Fame today on the first ballot, a Hall of Fame player, a Hall of Fame person.

Tomy will be inducted in Cooperstown on July the 30th.

And soon after receiving the call from the Hall of Fame,

he invited me into his home in suburban Chicago

to talk about his Hall of Fame phone call and his Hall of Fame career.
