But I think for parents who assigned a gender to their child,

that isn't like a bad thing, right? That is the thing that mainstream majority of parents are

going to do, but I think people can do though, is recognize that gender assignments can be wrong,

right? We can get them wrong because gender is a really personally experienced thing,

and no one can tell me what my gender is except for me, no one can tell you Alexis, what

your gender is, and like our kids right, get to they get to determine what their gender is.

And so I what I really think that and I'm seeing it happen with parents who might have assigned a

gender, they let their kids know, you know, at two, three, four, five, six, 14, they say,

I want you to know that I understand gender in a different way than I did when you were born,

and I just want you to know that I took a guest about your gender, and I recognize I might have

gotten it right, and I might not have, and I just want you to know that I am here for you, you know,

and I think that what we all we can do is say, here's the ways that I'm aware of that people can

experience gender, like if kids have more role models, right, like if they can see trans characters,

if they can see non-binary characters, if they can see more like inner sex characters, like if they

can see more representation, and if we talk to kids about pronouns, our kids can tell us what
