Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness Podcast. I'm sorry if this is a little bit

0:05.3

echoing. I'm coming to you from the little pod in my co-work where I spend a lot of time,

0:12.7

but hopefully I'll click a button after this and it'll all sound perfect. Anyway, today's podcast

0:18.1

is going to be about lessons that I am taking into 2026 because it is the start

0:24.7

of a new year, which I always find very exciting. I like to reflect and then set some goals for

0:30.9

next year. And what I am going to do is leave in the show notes, the goal setting workshop that I did

0:35.6

at the end of last year. So if you haven't already done

0:39.3

that, we got some amazing feedback about it and credit where it's due. It came from, or some

1:18.7

sure this is something I learned before last year, but is worth repeating, is that the most

1:23.6

important things never feel urgent, but they are. A good example of this is seeing your

1:30.8

parents. Like if you are lucky enough to have them and to have a good relationship with them,

1:36.2

make sure that you emphasize seeing them more. Make sure that you prioritize as the right word

1:41.7

that I was looking for, seeing them more. If you know you want to start a business, don't put it off because there'll never be a right

1:48.2

time. If you know you want to travel more, book in a trip, if you have really fancy plates

1:56.1

or cutlery that you're saving for like the perfect occasion or a special occasion, like today is a

2:00.5

special occasion. So I guess it's just like being present and appreciating where you are and appreciating
