Hey everybody, Tom Woods here.

I'm going to critique an article today.

I haven't done this in a while.

I don't know why.

I like critiquing articles.

Somebody sent me this article the other day, and I looked at it, and I wrote back to him, and I said, it looks like nobody has read this article. It looks like it has an audience of zero, so maybe I would be doing the author a favor by critiquing it. But then I thought, I think that's kind of a juvenile way of looking at things.

So what if somebody who says the wrong thing gets a few extra clicks? The important thing is

talking about ideas. And it may not be that this guy's article is such great shakes, but in the

course of answering it, you get to talk about some important stuff and

teach some important stuff and make some good points. And that's really what matters. Who cares

if the guy gets a few extra clicks? And he doesn't seem, by the way, like a terrible person. He's

not a social justice warrior from what I can tell. he's not calling libertarians Nazis or any ridiculous

stuff like that. So I appreciate those things. So I'm going to give this a fair shake here.
