Hey everybody, Tom Woods here. Just returned from San Diego where I had an excellent

time. And by the way, both of my groups, when we did the escape rooms, we both escaped,

because I did a couple of them during the day. So thanks a lot for being awesome people. I treated,

because it's like 20, 30 bucks to get into one of these escape

rooms. So I treated, it was my treat. I took some of my supporting listeners and we did a couple

of these and everybody had fun. It was just a great time. Exhausting day, but it was a great time.

If you don't know what an escape room is, Google it and check one out in your city. From now on, when I travel, I'm going to try to arrange it that I'll do an escape room with some of my supporting listeners while I'm in town.

Anyway, why was I in San Diego?

Because the Mises Institute was having an event there.

It was a short event, but it was wonderful with many wonderful people. Patrick Byrne,

CEO of Overstock.com, was the keynote speaker. Well, I gave a talk at the urging of Jeff Dice,

the Mises Institute president, called How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World. Now, obviously,

that is the title of a famous book by Harry Brown, a great libertarian.

And what Jeff wanted me to do was to take that concept and apply it to my own life and show how you can actually get a lot of freedom for yourself in this world.
