Summary

Laura interviews special guest Brian Entin, senior National Correspondent for NewsNation who covered Gabby’s case from the start. Brian was posted up outside the Laundrie’s home in Florida. He also went to the location where Gabby’s van was last seen and where Gabby’s body was found, near an undeveloped camping ground along the border of Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Brian shares important information about the location in relation to Brian’s so-called confession letter. 0:07.8	And despite the fact that the only suspect in the case,
0:10.3	the man who confessed to the killing is himself now dead,
0:13.7	the victim's family is still trying to get their day in court.
0:17.0	Speaking, of course, of the Gabby Petito, Brian Laundry case.
0:20.3	Petito's parents are now suing Laundry's parents.
0:23.1	They say the Laundry's new Gabby was dead the whole time,
0:26.4	but instead of telling them or the authorities, the truth,
0:29.6	they helped their son cover up the murder and plan to flee the country.
0:34.0	That's what the lawsuit says.
0:35.2	The Laundry's say they didn't know,
0:36.9	they had no obligation to speak,
0:38.7	and the Petito's lawsuit is groundless.
0:41.3	Representatives of both families were in court today,
0:43.3	and a judge will decide whether the suit goes to trial or whether it goes away.
