Yeah, a little more room for activities. As the Bears prepare to face the San Francisco 49ers, it's going to be Jimmy Garoppolo's first

start in a 49ers uniform, so we're going to use this podcast to kind of go back and not necessarily

second guess the Bears' decisions in the off season, but just the process to acquire a franchise

quarterback with some

hindsight right now, given the bears, we're interested in Jimmy Garoppolo when he was still a member

of the New England Patriots back in the spring, and then going on and, of course, trading up to

draft Mitchell Tribusky. Moon, you're writing about this in NBC Sports Chicago on Wednesday, but just

the process to acquire a franchise quarterback, you've

got to go get your guy and you got to identify him and then make an aggressive move to go get

him. Yeah, the interesting thing about Garoppolo is many teams were interested in, I think

I even reported, found out that Belichick, they weren't, he wasn't really available. I mean,

they were not eager to trade him because they really weren't sure what, Brady,

this was back in Combine time.

But to that point, you're right, Judge.

You have to get that guy if you identify him as that.

Now, whether or not you have good evaluation skills, that's another whole podcast.
