We're discussing the Bears 31 to 3rd 3 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles.

And I think we all thought that the Bears were going to lose.

I'm not sure we thought that they would lose this way. Jim, I'll start with you.

What was the most bothersome part of the loss?

Well, I just think they continue to shoot themselves in the foot.

They just got overmatched. They got outclassed. Way too many penalties, not executing plays.

And just I think towards the end, they just all around got frustrated.

And I don't want to say they got complacent or quit or anything like that.

But probably the most bothersome thing to me is, like you said, I think we all expected

But as for a measuring stick game, this team didn't even come close to measuring up.

Again, I know Philadelphia is the number one team in the NFC side of things and the best record in football.

But I just thought the Bears would measure up a lot better than what they did today.

I think when you look at just the three wins that the Bears have and who they were against,

you look at Carolina, and Carolina is a good team in NFL,

and then you look at the Pittsburgh Steelers, and they're a good team,

and you thought that they would raise their level of play when they're playing what everybody
