Jay, football season's right around the corner. Glad to have you back. Oh, it's always exciting, Jeremy. I'm glad to be back, too, with the audience on the Inquirer podcast, and always great talking with you. You know, August is always a funny time of year for any football player or any former football player. They all tell you they have the same feeling that hits you.

And it never really leaves, you know. And the hottest week of the year usually comes the first

week of August. We had some heat. It's been cooler lately, at least here in Illinois. And, but you

always get that feeling of like got to earn your position again. And that's what's going on right now. Yeah. And it's always to the point, Jay, where it's like August 19th, August 20th, this is where like training camp, it's like, all right, we need to play somebody. We see them play somebody else. As a player, what is that like on August 19th, August 20th?

I mean, the goal is to get to game week, right? I don't think people realize that game week

is a lot easier than camp because you start to go against a scout team of, say, you know,

Eastern Illinois or whatever, opponent you're playing. In camp, it's literally three weeks of good on good playing guys that you're matched up to

equally on the offense or you're competing with people in drills, maybe at your position

group that you're right here and fighting.

And you've really got to bring it every day from a physical standpoint.

Like you have got to bring it and be physical every day because you're being evaluated every rep. And I think the mental toll that it takes on you
