Welcome to the show, everybody. It is January 19th. It is Martin Luther King Day. And I just want to

give you a reminder. This is not just a day off from work, some holiday for you. This is a full-on

celebration of a man who was the leader of the civil rights movement and was cut down in

1968 and we today are still battling the same stuff that he was fighting for we're still got

racism higher than ever right now. Homophobia, anger, insanity out there.

So remember Martin Luther King Jr. on this day and honor that man.

Wherever you're at, shout it out, celebrate what he was trying to achieve.

And I will say this, being a singer for 25 years, I will tell you it is the hardest thing I've ever done other than

stand-up comedy. Stand-up comedy, hands down, is the hardest thing I've ever done. But being a singer

in a rock and roll band, it is brutal because you're dealing with your body every day.

If your body is a little broke down, if you're a little sick, if you're hung over,

if you're not in the mood, your voice is not going to perform.

Now, if it performs at the highest level for many, many, many years, and then it goes

away from injury or some kind of not caring for yourself, any of that stuff, you're going to

reach out probably to Amy Chapman, voice coach and speech pathologist.

This woman has worked with all of the best out there. Shakira, Anthony Kedis, she coaches everybody

on the mass singer. She works with the new voices of Rick and Morty.

On and on and on.

She is a serious vocal coach.
