so the first one is drop the victim mentality. Remind yourself that you are choosing to do this.

You get to do this. You don't have to do this. And that might seem pedantic, but that mental

approach matters so much. No one's forcing you to do this. You are choosing to. And eating a little

bit less doesn't mean that you're missing out. Remind yourself of that. And remind yourself that

you are doing this to improve your life, to enjoy your life more. Not to live like a hermit

for eight weeks. Life is too short for that.

But life is also too short to have a goal and not meet it or to feel uncomfortable in your own skin or to be impacting your health negatively.

Getting in shape should make your life better, not worse.

And if it's making your life worse, you are approaching it either practically or mentally or both in the wrong way.

Second thing I want to say, embrace a bit of hard work.
