Hello and welcome to this episode of the ESG Fitness podcast.

Today's episode is going to be all about how fat loss is one on your worst days.

0:13.0

And this is a bit of a different angle to talk about imperfect action and one that I hope will be a bit of a game change of people and have a bit of a clicking

0:21.7

point in their heads. And this really has for a lot of clients been a really big shift in making

0:30.2

this time, this time they lose fat, the time that is successful and getting out of that like

0:36.4

all or nothing mentality or the perfectionist tendencies where

0:40.3

you try and be absolutely perfect on your good days and then you completely blow it on other days and when you get into this horrible cycle of actually working really really hard and feeling like actually the only way that you ever get results is when you work that hard

1:45.7

sustainable it is to get results. If you try and minimize your bad days or damage control

1:52.2

your bad days, this is by far the most effective way to improve your average. And it's a much

2:00.2

more sustainable and enjoyable way than trying to be

2:03.6

perfect on your good days and maintain that, which, as I'm sure we've all realized, is unsustainable

2:10.7

because we are not robots and life happens, right? Most people think, whether they're fully

2:17.4

conscious of it or not, on some level that

2:19.9

fat loss kind of requires being perfect, right? That's why I often get questions like, God,
