Last time we saw our heroes, we followed mostly the plot of the movie.

Wesley perhaps made slightly less of a relationship with Fezik and Inigo Montoya because he dispatched them a little easier.

But other than that, we followed the movie pretty closely, except Buttercup went slightly loopier during her years of isolation and developed a talking bird friend that is of questionable canonicity.

Well, it's definitely canon.

It's of questionable reality.
