Summary

Hi peeps, this is a cheat of an episode in that it’s about how to get closest to getting your ex back via supporting yourself. There are no cheats that will make your ex spontaneously love you if things fell apart, so think of this as a best-practices-for-best-conditions kind of thing. That feeling of pain and longing and even obsession over the loss of your relationship. Maybe it wasn’t something you were expecting, or you both kind of “decided” it was right but now you’re realizing it’s not at all what you wanted and you can’t stop thinking about getting back together. Maybe you’re internet stalking your ex, maybe you’re just super depressed and texting them when you get drunk. Or maybe you’re actively trying to convince them you should get back together – as respectfully as you possibly can, and you can’t for the life of you, figure out how to do this right. So this is for anyone who is trying to get their ex back or is holding their head up high and not admitting they want that, but still wishing they were magically back together– either because you broke their heart and you know now you screwed up, or because you were dumped and you were not ready or willing to have this outcome. If this is where you are – you’re likely in a split personality state that can be sometimes a belligerent puking of tears, sometimes a banal but painful loneliness, sometimes annoyingly obsessed, sometimes scary-obsessed, or sometimes feeling like complete and utter worthless shit – and ONLY your ex can make you feel stable and “yourself” again. Hi peeps, Help Me Be Me is underfunded and needs your help. If you enjoy listening to this or it helps you at all,

0:08.0

please visit Help Me Be Me.com and click donate or visit me on Patreon. Thanks. Hi everybody it's it's Sarah May. How's it going? So this is an episode that is all about wanting your X back and it's basically

0:39.2

steps you could take toward best outcomes.

0:44.3

Because that's kind of like a, you know,

0:46.0

click bait kind of title, which I'm taking advantage of,

0:50.6

but it is really, there's not like a button you can hit to make that happen.

0:54.6

It's, this is hopefully going to get you closer to that if that's where you are and what you want.

0:59.6

So, before I get into that subject matter, I just wanted to say I am launching my new site on the 30th of July 2016, and that is called Yay With Me. And as of that date,

1:15.8

teaspoon of Happy will be moving to Yay With Me.com, which is awesome and very

1:21.6

exciting and I think the U.X. is way better and it's got a little bit more shine.

1:26.0

But have no fear, we'll have the same content, so all the blogs, all the podcasts,

1:31.0

all the podcasts, same, everything is going to live there.

1:34.0

And if you are a current one-on-one client of mine,

1:38.0

you will have a new URL that I will send you

1:41.0

with your marching orders and on the new site.

1:44.7

But if you are a past one-on-one client, your marching orders will no longer be active,

1:49.2

so please remember to download your files and copy and paste your links. So outside of that if you are the kind of person who hates change, I'm with you. I feel like I hate all new things just because they're new.

2:03.6

Like for example I refused to update to the new Apple software

2:06.4

for like six months, like basically until nothing worked.

2:10.2

So this is gonna feel probably awkward

2:12.2

and you won't like it, but the change will be better in the long run.

2:15.0

And I think you'll get used to the new look and you'll like it.
