Happy Valentine's Day. Thank you. It's a joy to be with you. This is The Nest. These are our little mini episodes of Best to the Nest where we share just a few fun little things that are making our nests beautiful or delicious or joyful or fun or happy. And since it is Valentine's week, and this is dropping on Valentine's Day,

we thought that we would just share some of our fun little Valentine's gifts,

Valentine's traditions, things that might make your day more.

You know, it doesn't necessarily have to be romantic, but just ways to show some love.

What do you got, Marjorie?

Well, I wanted to talk a little bit about two things.

So my favorite Valentine's Day card, and any young parent out there can do this.

Any parent with young kids can do this. So when my kids were three and one, my husband gave me

the most adorable Valentine's Day card that they had contributed to.

So you know how every parent of young toddlers has the handprints?

Yes.

You know, preschools use the handprints.

Yeah.

Well, my husband Ian did a butt print.

Little did you know that the butt makes a perfect heart shape when the kids are three and one.

So they cover their little butts with paint, set them down on paper, and made the cutest little

hearts. I still have it. It's the funniest damn thing. That's so cute. It was really cute. And you know

what? You know, it just, it was adorable. It was funny. Of course, the kids thought it was super

funny because it was super like, what are we doing? So it was a very happy thing.

Now I'm going to talk about the best gift I think I've ever gotten.

If you want to talk about feeling cared for and, you know, Valentine's Day, it's about romance, it's about love, it's about connection, which is why I think sometimes Valentine's Day is so hard when you're not in a relationship.
