I have this urge today to go back in time, to go probe the minds of people that I did not get a chance to for this podcast.

First, the philosopher Bertrand Russell. I think this Q&A is from 1952.

Second, the author Christopher Hitchens from about 10 years ago.

Thirdly, Alan Watts, the Eastern philosopher, easily from the 1950s or 60s.

Three very different sounding men, but that's not the point.

The point, what they say.

And I think I was inspired today to go this direction, this philosophical direction,

because I started to have a debate

on the anniversary of 9-11 on my Facebook.

Now, of course, there are some debates about what happened on 9-11, but the simplest explanation,

Occam's Razor, and a healthy dose of the scientific method gives us our best

explanations. I did not expect much controversy from that simple little post. Wow. I had no idea

what this 9-11 truth movement was all about.

I have people that want to spend their energy to say that a plane did not hit the Pentagon on 9-11.

I asked these people, so where did American Airlines Flight 7-7 go?

Then they tell me, you just don't get it.

You don't understand.
