A lot to talk about as always, because I guess it's always like six weeks, six to eight

weeks in between appearances by you and a lot of stories accumulate. Now, the lot of cars are

coming out for the 2017 model year, so certainly we'll want to say something about that,

but there's a somewhat breaking

story. It was last week, as people are hearing this, but it involves Volkswagen and some jobs

that they just decided to shed. Yep. And you wrote a piece called What It Costs us.

So tell us about it.

Yeah.

Well, the announcement came on Friday that Volkswagen will be shedding 30,000 jobs, which is just a staggering figure.

And the reason that they're having to do this, of course, is because of the costs incurred by this cheating fiasco.

Their profits are way down.
