There's a lot of bad news to share each and every day. I could call this podcast the bad news podcast

Because there's always so much injustice

But today we're gonna celebrate some phenomenal news that came out of Nashville yesterday evening as you know

Nashville state legislator from Tennessee

Justin Jones was ousted expelled and removed from his seat

But the city of Nashville got to appoint his replacement and as his replacement

They appointed Justin Jones

And Justin Jones was just sworn back into office and

And marched proudly and boldly with his black fist in the air and

I could not be happier

for the full circle moment

Seeing those almost exclusively white male Republicans

disgusted as he marched right back onto the floor of the state legislature

Justin Jones and Justin Pearson two young black men elected to that body
