I want to start today with a quote from somebody which if you learn and internalize this quote,

you will understand basically everything that happens in politics today.

Ready? Here's a quote.

If you scapecote someone, it's a third party that will be aware of it.

It won't be you because you will believe you are doing the right thing.

You will be either punishing someone who is guilty or fighting someone who is trying to kill you,

All right, that is a quote by my man, Renee Gerard.

We have met Renee Gerard before on this show, but only in passing.

That was because I did an episode while back about my mesis.

I was doing it about my mesis in the extraordinarily broad sense of this is a concept that exists

in the West.

Here are all these different texts where it occurs.

Here's the way this idea has played out over time and also Renee Gerard is an important

person who has talked about this thing.

Let's get into this book, which really is one of Gerard's master works.

It comes up in 1999.
