I have three co-hosts, but every now and then I have a special guest. And in this episode,

I'm talking with Kat Lee, host of the two podcasts Inspired to Action and Hello Mornings. She's a good friend of

mine, a long time contributing writer on The Art of Simple, and she actually lives not too far from me in Waco, Texas.

I wanted her on because you all have told me how much you enjoy the travel-themed Simple Show episodes

with my co-host Stephanie Langford, but tons of you also follow up with.

That's great, but can you please do an episode about normal travel?

And by that you mean shorter trips with your family around the two to three week mark and

usually somewhere domestic, which for us means the U.S.

Well, Kat and her family are experts on nailing down the epic American

family road trip. Every summer, she and her family drives somewhere new in a quest for hitting

all lower 48 states with their kids before they leave the nest. They've been at it for several summers now,

and man, do they do it well. So settle in and be inspired by
