your mind you have this big garden outside of your house which is your mind and when you're living

your day-to-day life you don't realize it but there's all these weeds popping up and when you're

walking you're just weeding and you're just going through your garden and and pulling out these weeds

and then one day you look around and you go, oh, it's a clean garden.

And it's just the act of walking kind of enables this.

Today's episode is a throwback to two years ago when we talked to Tom Tersich, who's literally walking around the world. And we talked to him after speaking of them two years prior on the show back in 2017.

So let me back all the way up. He started walking in 2015 from his home up in the northeast

of the United States and just started walking literally to South America.

We talked to him two years into the experience when he was still in South America.

He's planning to walk across every continent except for Antarctica.

So that was back in 2017 when we first talked to him.

Then we did an update that was 2019 and that's where this interview is coming from, the 2019 interview. So, you know, it's two years later. It's about time we do another interview. So I actually just reached out to Tom, I said, hey, man, I've just been thinking about you. How's your trip going? And he said he'd like to do another interview. So we're going to, he's in the States now. He's, he's on the very last leg of his journey heading back across the United States. We're going to

do an interview with him again very soon, have him back on the show and hear what literally the last

two years have been like across Europe and Asia. And what's so beautiful about this, even if you're

not ever going to aspire to walk around the world, walking

is absolutely an adventure sport. Anyone will tell you, you can drive the same commute, the same way

to somewhere every single day. But if you got on your feet and walked to that same place,

I promise you there will be so many

things you would never notice. It would feel like a place you've never been. I do it all the time

on the bike. I'll drive somewhere and then I'll bike somewhere or vice versa. And it feels like two

different planets. And the disparity between driving and walking is even greater.

So I challenge you, if you are not hardcore adventure athlete, you're not climbing mountains
